Regla de DOS
Featured in Guide
If you’re wandering through Ciutat Vella and want a spot where locals really gather, Regla de DOS is a solid pick. Tucked on Embajador Vich street, it’s the kind of place that feels like a neighborhood gem—you get a casual, warm vibe with friendly staff who make you feel part of the community. The interior is cozy without fuss, perfect for a relaxed meal after exploring the old town. Locals swear by the mushroom risotto and the bread with sausage and mushrooms, which hit just the right balance of hearty and fresh. Portions are generous without being overwhelming, and the price feels fair for the quality you get. It’s great for lunch or a low-key dinner with friends or family when you’re craving something honest and satisfying without any pretense. Best to come early or book ahead since it’s a favorite neighborhood spot that fills up.

The food was great, it came fast and was of excellent quality! They adapted our orders to our liking, and the cuisine was perfect. The servers were very friendly and all spoke English, which is a great plus. It was very calm when we were here, so very quiet inside which we liked. Hard to judge the atmosphere other than that, however. We would definitely come here again!
I found the place from google maps. Because of the reviews i gave it a try. I ordered a portion calamar, a burrata dish wich comes with 2x bread guacamole saus and 4 shrimps, the burrata was put on some cheal salad leafs. And ordered fish pasta and 2 drinks. In total i paid €44,- nothing was great tasting en wow presentation. Also the place restaurant needs a renovation. Calamar was to fatty and not crispy and to fishy taste and to much salt. Burrata dish was a rip off. How can you put a burrata on some cheap leaf salad? Even if you would have it put on some rucola would be much better. No balsamico, no olive oil no seasoning, no effort for good presenation. The pasta made me feel meh all night.
I stumbled upon this place while in town and it was amazing. I tried the bread with sausage and mushroom which had a great salty flavor to it. The potatoes were good as well, as well as the garlic shrimp. The garlic shrimp was cooked to perfection. The seafood risotto was extremely flavorful as well and I would definitely have it again. Staff was attentive and the restaurant had a great atmosphere.
We had a nice lunch here. The mushroom risotto was a total standout, and the service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. If you’re looking for a great meal, I definitely recommend checking this place out.
Such a lovely restaurant that we went twice during our 6 days in Valencia. The waitstaff were super friendly and spoke excellent English. Excellent food, great wine list at reasonable prices and fabulous background music. Highly recommend!!
