Great food and great value, quite beautiful in the evenings with the outdoor setting. Staff are always very friendly and accommodating - we never make a reservation and it is always easy to find a table. Great when you want some variety - a unique spanish/greek/asian/hispanic fusion that isn’t overcomplicated. The rear courtyard is a hidden gem. Thanks Isabella and team for another great experience!
We had an incredible dinner experience at La Calita in Valencia, and a huge part of that was thanks to our amazing server, Vivi. From the moment we arrived, Vivi made us feel genuinely welcome — warm, attentive, and effortlessly charming. Her knowledge of the menu was spot on, and every recommendation she made was a hit. Vivi’s attention to detail, friendly attitude, and impeccable timing made the entire evening feel seamless and special. She truly elevated our dining experience and added a personal touch that’s hard to find. If you’re dining at La Calita, ask for Vivi — she’s a gem. Thank you for a fantastic night! 💫🍷🍽️
I've been eyeing La Calita for a while now, for its lovely, Mediterranean vibe, sunny terrace tucked away just behind Plaza de la Reina, and several veg options. Despite being so centric (and located just by one of the most charming streets in Valencia) it's not a touristy place - instead, one offering a creative approach to well-known tapas and dishes. The food is good, and the service - exquisite, welcoming and friendly, ensuring you feel at home; a lovely, relaxed home by the sea. The prices are slightly on the expensive side, so you might not treat yourself as often as you could - but you should try it, at least once.
A hidden gem close to the cathedral - loved their burrata and great deserts - also great Agua de Valencia
The Restaurant is really nice and has delicious tapas & drinks and a very sweet atmosphere. Our waiter Vivienne was very Sweet and mindful. Would definitely recommend 😊
