Le Favole Ristorante
Featured in Guide
If you’re looking for a genuine Italian vibe right in the heart of Ciutat Vella, Le Favole feels like one of those neighborhood spots locals quietly treasure. The place isn’t about flash, but about *comfort and honest food*—think wood-fired pizzas with the perfect crust and fresh, generous pasta portions that don’t mess around. The atmosphere is relaxed, with warmly decorated interiors and a cozy heated terrace next to a playground, making it a natural pick for families or friends catching up. The staff, often Italian themselves, adds a friendly, familiar touch that makes you feel right at home without any fuss. Prices are fair, reflecting the quality and portion sizes, so it’s easy to come back without breaking the bank. Best to book ahead for dinner, since it can get lively, especially on weekends. Locals appreciate how it balances quality and a genuine, down-to-earth experience away from the usual buzz[4][1][5].

We didn’t have a reservation, so we just sat at the bar. It was very hard to get the servers’ attention. Though they became more attentive after knowing we were here to spend since we ordered a lot. Food was a bit salty, but still good. Carbonara would be perfect had it not been so salty. Seafood pasta with prawn both was very good. The veal meatballs were the best in our meal. Meat pizza was good but a tad salty. This is a place you won’t regret trying, but also one you won’t cry over if you miss.
They make the drinks for you at the table. Fantastic Cesar for a first course with warm chicken. The staff is busy but attentive. Parmesan wheel for the pasta which is very fun. Amazing pizza! Service was a little slow
High quality Italian food. We made a reservation for the same night and were able to get in as a group of 4 around 9:30 pm. When we arrived our table was not yet ready so we waited by the bar for 5 minutes and were then escorted to our table. After ordering our food and drinks, the drinks took a while to arrive and then our server was rather difficult to flag down in order to place additional drink orders. In terms of food, we had both pizza and pasta. Both were very delicious. The desserts were also excellent. The only thing that soured the meal a bit was the service, the food was all very good.
Recommended by a friend who’s living in Valencia. The margherita pizza was simply the best I’ve ever had. The fish soup was terrific. Tasty food, friendly staff plus cosy atmosphere which all together made it a very wonderful night to us.
Wow! I had excellent pasta with sausage, pasta was perfectly cooked. The service was fast and friendly English friendly too. The playground next store is a cool vibe and great for parents who can take a break from parenting and eat in peace! Wonderful expensive’
