Amazing find in Gamla Stan! This vegan restaurant had the best food. Sitting outside on a lovely spring day just made it that much better. I highly recommend it, whether or not you're a vegan. I have the mushroom and sauerkraut dumplings, which were so delicious. I just may have to return to try the Swedish "meatballs!"

I was visiting Stockholm, Sweden on holiday and being vegan I wondered if there would be Swedish meatballs available! Sure enough I found Verte ! The service was excellent and the Swedish Meatballs were INCREDIBLE!!! I also ordered the mango/passionfruit cheesecake that was also vegan and it was absolutely amazing !!! I would totally recommend coming here if you want the best plant based meatballs and service!

We loved the numerous vegan options—from the Swedish vegoballs to dumplings and bowls—with high-quality flavors and satisfying portions. The service was prompt and courteous, even during busy periods. The wine selection was excellent, offering great pairing possibilities. And the location in Gamla Stan gave it an inviting, cozy charm perfect for a relaxed meal. While it’s not the cheapest spot, the overall quality made it well worth the price. Highly recommend for vegans and non‑vegans alike.

Beautiful vegan restaurant in the oldtown of Stockholm. We had the vegan köttbullar and the soup of the day with crispy bread. Both was super delicious. Great place to have good food. Staff was also really friendly😊 Worth a visit💚

Beyond expectations! Great location and even better food. Believe the hype, it’s that good. I had the vegan meatballs and mashed potatoes. Huge portion and out of this world flavor. Wow! I’m coming back tomorrow. Update: I went back today and had the burger and fries. The burger didn’t look like much but it was packed with flavor! This place is seriously amazing.
