I came here to eat around late lunch. The place was nearly empty, only one to two tables occupied by an elderly man enjoying his newspaper or a tourist couple settling in after a long stroll around town. I ordered the wild boar meatballs and IPA beer. The beer was not bad, but for my personal taste it lacked the bitter and fruity flavors that I usually enjoy in good IPA. The food was good but again, the meatballs were a bit too dry and rough ( they had parts of ground cartilage with the meat and it wasn’t pleasant to crunch it under my teeth). The sauce was strong but all in all it was ok, maybe not the best meatballs Ive eaten in Stockholm but an interesting experience to try out. And compared to other spots, meals are on the expensive side due to wild game that is being served.
The food is good and offers a really unique taste, but it lacks individuality. The biggest downside in my opinion is the price, you pay a lot of money for portions that on the one hand could be way bigger and on the other hand could offer way more variability. Worth a try if you look for moose or reindeer taste, but bring a big wallet. The service is okay but thats it, for me a bit disappointing
This place is incredible!!! The food was absolutely fantastic and the beer on draught was lovely. We got The Hairy Pig platter and I would highly recommend, it includes their hot dog, reindeer taco, and wild boar sausage. We also got the goats cheese croquettes to start and they were also delicious.
Found this place on a cheaper eats listing. As a tourist the prices in Denmark are high in the first place but here the prices are also very high especially considering the size of the portions were small for the price. The dark beer was creamy and smooth but outrageously expensive. Had the Taste of Sweden Appetizer in attached picture and a Taco. This covered all the Danish meats on the menu and we enjoyed all of them. The quantity did not fully cover our appetites but we couldn't justify more costs. Service was friendly and nice but as time went by and more customers arrived it slowed significantly. Sat outside and it was very pleasant
I truly enjoyed this place, it has such a different atmosphere, that made me feel a nice vibe. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. I’ll definitely try it again when I’m back to Sweden. Thank you!🫶🏻
