We enjoyed a cozy meal at this restaurant. We came in during the lunch rush, but were seated immediately and didn't wait long for food to arrive. The service was friendly and the food was great. The mulled wine is a fantastic accompaniment to the warm borsch.
We visited just after the lunchtime rush and had the place to ourselves. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, with Rod Stewart’s American Songbook playing softly in the background. The food was delicious and arrived promptly. Our waitress greeted us with a warm smile, explained the menu clearly, and made excellent suggestions. Outstanding service and a lovely dining experience – highly recommend.
Absolutely the best meal I had during my week in Scandinavia. Around 9pm I walked past this restaurant, noticing the warm light and music coming from within. The lovely young woman who served me was very sweet. The generously sized bottle of beer was cold and delicious. I ordered the filled pancakes which came with a small salad and sour cream. The savory pancakes (similar to crêpes) were buttery and soft yet perfectly crisped on the outside and filled with ground beef and mushrooms. The salad was incredibly delicious for being quite simple. Perfect location for a quiet romantic meal
The borsch is fantastic--came here twice for it. The interior is beautiful and cozy and I sat by the door looking out at the streets of the old town, the water shimmering in the distance. The music too is very relaxing. I just have to put my phone down and soak it all in. Highly recommend!
We came here for a late lunch. The restaurant is small, with a cozy interior. The staff are very friendly. We didn't have to wait at all. I ordered the Schweizer schnitzel, which I believe is the Swedish version of schnitzel. It was really delicious. The schnitzel was fried perfectly and seasoned well. The mashed potatoes and side of green beans were also very flavorful. The yogurt dipping sauce was also really tasty. They seem to be open mainly for lunch. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're nearby for lunch.
