It's best to book a table earlier as it does get packed. That said, it was a great dining experience. The staff were pleasant, the food was good and I'll definitely visit again. They have a variety of meatballs, the pasta was great and it's just a place I will go to for a good meal and if anything, order the Garlic bread. It was great
We visited Meatball for the People and overall had a nice experience. The meatballs are definitely the highlight – really tasty and well-prepared. We tried both pasta and the chef’s choice. The classics were great, but the pasta was a little on the dry side. The atmosphere and decoration are lovely, making it a cozy place to dine. On a Saturday night, we waited about 20 minutes for a table, so I’d highly recommend booking online in advance. The dishes are on the pricier side considering the type of food, but if you’re looking for quality meatballs in a charming setting, it’s worth a visit.
We ordered the Swedish Classic with chicken—the gravy was flavorful, and the chicken was perfectly cooked and well-seasoned. We also tried the spaghetti with beef; the sauce was nice, but I personally didn’t enjoy the beef meatballs. Overall, it was a great experience and a solid introduction to traditional Swedish food. The service was good, and although we arrived at 9 PM and the place was quite busy, we still managed to get a table without waiting too long. Definitely worth a visit, especially for first-timers looking to try authentic Swedish cuisine.
I had a great experience here! The food is excellent with good quality meat, creamy mashed potatoes and unique cranberry sauce. The brown sauce was a little too thin for me but the overall taste was great. The atmosphere is also very chill, and the server was super kind and attentive, when I indicated I am in a hurry, did everyone he could the make it quicker for me. Yes, it's not cheap, 278 SEK for 8 meatballs, but worth a visit.
A delightful selection of meatballs with a taste of surprise. We ordered the meatball feast (with eight types) and the chef’s choice (with four types); we did not know what the chef was going to select for us, but the meatballs tasted delectable anyways. I particularly enjoyed the veal, which was juicy and savoury.
