Friendly place for a quick lunch or snack break. Nicely sitting outside especially in the summer, or with a warm temperature. Queue goes up to 15/20 minutes when crowded. Don’t disturb the owner when there a lot of people to serve, and the waiters. He doesn’t like question when committed 🫡
I tried Bao for lunch for the first time at this place last year, and I’ve been coming back several times since. My go-to is the one stuffed with pork belly — the sauce is delicious, and it comes topped with crispy fried onions (my favorite Swedish hotdog topping). Each bite of the Bao is packed with flavor: salty, sweet, spicy, with tender pork belly and a bit of crunch from the toppings. Pair it with a Leo Thai beer, and you’ve got the perfect, easy lunch. The owner is friendly, and you can choose to sit inside or outside — though indoor seating is a bit limited. It’s definitely a laid-back spot with a good variety of choices. I’ll definitely be back!
Fantastic pork buns. I feel like a whole man. ETA: Returned today with my wife, who has not eaten here before. Not only did we have the pork buns, but the sticky chicken as well. She was VERY happy with delicious they both were, and so was I. An absolutely perfect place for a quick and tasty lunch.
Really nice bao buns! The sticky chicken was crispy and delicious with chili mayo. The pork was so juice and tender, the best! The beef was also really good, more refreshing taste. Enjoy them with Leo and sit outside!
Fantastic place. Great fluffy buns, juicy and tender meats and topped with tasty fresh ingredients. Reasonably priced and very decent sized buns. Would visit again!
