I have no reference point about Sweden in general as I just landed but compared to my stake experience across the globe these guys sit right next to the Greats. Spectacular ribeye & great wine paring.
Well that night got away from us. Such great service! I felt like royalty - the cocktails kept coming and the food was exceptional and fun. We came to try the caviar - it was great. I could’ve had a few more of those. We snacked on Steak Tartare which was delish! My friends loved the Burrata. But the Wagyu!!! Goodness sakes I walk miles for more. We all agreed this should be a staple in everyone’s diet. It was tender beyond compare and flavor was perfect. The Blackened Tuna with Scallops was had by all and it was great finish. Our server was out of this world and perfect for the West Coast Americans out on the town. He was congenial and ever patient. Thank you Dinner22. I hope you see a massive influx of tourists!
Absolutely fantastic. The food was beautiful, and service was friendly and informative without being fussy. I decided to go for the set menu as all items sounded delicious and they really were. To start I had the lobster and roe on toast, perfectly balanced. Main course was the venison, which was very well cooked and to end the crème brûlée. All very tasty. Would certainly return to try some of the other menu items next time I visit Gothenburg, certainly deserving of 5 stars.
I chose to dine at this restaurant based on its excellent reviews and was not disappointed. My order started with shrimp, lobster and vendace roe served on farmhouse bread with pickled onion. Followed by delicious main course, which was loin of venison served on the creamed cabbage with truffle accompanied by potato purée with cheese and bacon and lingonberry sauce. I have ordered 2oz of Glenfiddich scotch whisky on the side to finish my dining. While I wasn’t entirely sure about the two large meat cuts hanging at the entrance, everything else—from the moment I walked in to the moment I left—was flawless. The service was outstanding: friendly, polite, patient, and impressively efficient despite a busy evening. The food itself was exceptional. Every dish was well-seasoned, perfectly cooked, served warm, and beautifully presented. The venison was simply “heaven in the mouth”—soft, delicate, and tender. It was my first time trying venison, and I can now say I’m a big fan. If you haven’t dined here yet, you absolutely should. This place deserves five stars—and the chef deserves an extra five stars for delivering a truly perfect meal. Very reasonably priced considering quality of the food and the whole service. Thank you for a fantastic experience!
A discrete warm atmosphere greets you as you step in. The staff are really friendly and helpful. My friend and I got a large entrecote type steak for 2 as well as the compulsory local starter as in the photo. It's a place I'll definitely got to again with close friends.
