Unfortunately, my experience at Alpine Delights Swiss Bistro was quite disappointing. The food was average at best—nothing special or memorable—and didn't live up to the authentic Swiss cuisine I was expecting. The dishes lacked flavor and presentation felt rushed. Additionally, the service was lacking; staff was inattentive and unresponsive, which only added to the overall dissatisfaction. Considering the prices we paid, I expected a much higher standard of quality and hospitality, but unfortunately, it didn't add up. Overall, I found the restaurant overrated, and I wouldn’t recommend it if you're looking for an authentic Swiss dining experience. There are better options elsewhere.

A charming restaurant popular among both locals and tourists, with secret garden vibes. I had lunch here twice, trying both the fondue, and the grilled beef with homemade butter (also comes with a side salad and bread basket). Tap water is complimentary. It gets busy at lunch time (especially around 12.30pm) on weekdays, but I was able to get a seat outside at both 12pm and 1.30pm without a reservation. Solo traveller friendly and I enjoyed the experience slowly savouring my lunch with a book and listening to the quiet chatter around me. The outdoor area does permit smokers and pets, so travellers who are smoke averse might want to sit inside. For first time fondue triers: tear or cut up the bread into bite sized pieces, maintaining a soft bread to crust ratio. Spear the bread with your fondue fork, gently swirl in the pot before removing it onto your plate and eating it with your table fork - don’t eat from the fondue fork!

Amazing restaurant serving Swiss cuisine! The gruyere cheese fondue with fresh baguette was outstanding. Steaks in green peppercorn sauce were cooked to perfection and delicious 😋😋😋 Server was prompt and super friendly. And the vibe and atmosphere of the place just added to the pleasant experience. Even though it is a bit far from the centre of Geneva, I would definitely visit this place again when I am back in town.

Sat outside in the courtyard. Ordered the fondue for one, salad and the steak. Perfectly cooked. All enjoyed with a lovely glass of rose wine. The service was very professional and the waiter very helpful. Will return.

Very tasty fondue in the oldest place in Geneva, popular with local people. Very good service, attentive staff and delicious fondue. However, it is clear that fondue is made from a limited variety of cheeses, and basically it is the same cheese you can buy elsewhere and make the same fondue at home. The bill was average, typical for Geneva. We spent on a small bottle of wine, cured meat, fondue with potatoes and vegetables in traditional style 107 Swiss francs (about 110 EUR). I recommend this place, very authentic. I recommend sitting closer to the hedge with a view of the church.
