The pizza was absolutely delicious. The salad was great too. Prices were reasonable for the location. The staff were friendly and approachable.
The pizza here is an absolute 10/10! It's easily one of the best I've had. The staff and the pizza chef were all incredibly friendly and polite. For a quick meal, the food was great, and the prices were much cheaper than other places in the area, making it fantastic value for money.
Our experience at Santa Lucia in Bern started off on the wrong foot. We accidentally entered through the back door (which wasn’t marked as restricted), and though we were apologetic, one of the male servers rudely scolded us and made us wait for a table, despite plenty being available. It made for an awkward start. Once we were seated, the other server was friendly, and the food arrived promptly. We ordered the Prosciutto San Daniele con melone as a starter, the Santa Lucia pizza, and prawn risotto, paired with Riesling and rosé. The Prosciutto con melone was the highlight—refreshing and flavorful. The pizza and risotto, however, were average, nothing that stood out. The meal was on the pricey side overall, and with the mixed service experience, we left feeling a bit underwhelmed.
We had an amazing experience at this pizzeria! The pizza was absolutely delicious, with a perfectly thin crust, and the best part—it was gluten-free, which was a huge plus for us. We ordered two pizzas, a cappuccino, and a latte, and the total came to 80 Swiss francs, which felt fair for the quality and service we received. A special mention to our waitress from Romania, who was incredibly kind and attentive, making our visit even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend this place for both the food and the warm, welcoming atmosphere!
Great pepperoni pizza and couple fine glasses of white wine hit the spot. Bug portion. Bit greasy, but you can sop it up by folding into the crust part that is dry (but excellent). Seemed fair price. Nice staff.
