Very nice view with ice latte in hot summer, great experience!
Perfect place to chill in the afternoon. The garden is very large, relaxing, with a nice view. Coffee and bread were not bad at all. I liked the dried tomatoes a lot. They offer soup and cheese and ham platter. You can have a proper picnic outside. I really enjoyed my time here.
After ascending the 344 steps of the Bern Münster, this unique café provided a much-needed break. With its ample outdoor seating, shaded by trees or basking in the sunlight, the location offers a serene view of the Aare River, making it an ideal spot to unwind. On our visit, we enjoyed a Nitro Cold Brew, which proved to be THE BEST COLD BREW in Bern—exceptionally smooth and refreshing. The Aperol Spritz served as a perfect complement, while the brioche bun was a delightful snack. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere inviting. Having visited for the second time, I can confidently recommend this café for anyone seeking a peaceful break in their day. 10/10
Beautiful spot with great coffee and pleasant staff.
The "Einsteinsbier" might just be the BEST beer I've served so far in den Schweiz and I've tried quite a few... but if there is something that absolutely kills me is that I have asked about the brand of beer! Of course they named it Einsteinsbier for marketing purposes, to capitalize on the fact Einstein lived 2 years in Bern, but I forgot to ask about the bier maker so I could more! X( So it cost me 7Fr for 0.5L. The bier is unfilthered, weizen, draught, slighlty brown in color, not bitter, cold and ideal to be drank for thirst during a heatwave, with just the right amount of foam and a very determined pungent beer taste which I adore. And unlike other Swiss brands which feel commercial, bland in taste, 3 day fermented and CO2 forced into it; the Einsteinsbier had a particular taste which only beers subject to the correct and recommeded 30-day fermentation period beers have. So if you ask me, das bier ist gut, zehr gut! and a bargain! wheb you pair it to the absolutely stunning view. They had some covkatils and appetizers to serve but I was not interested. In Bern I will more than surely be back as it is a quiet, easygoing town with chill, friendly people, but the Einsteinsbier will be on the "must-have" list, for more-than-once try-outs if not the only place and kind of bier to serve in the entire town!
