Einstein – café & bel étage

We love this Cafe so much we had breakfast here 3 days in a row. The croissants are to die for. Cappuccino was great. My husband loves their pancakes with maple syrup. 🍁 highly recommended!

Was a nice leisurely place to start a holiday weekend breakfast. Food was good, but wish it had more options! Ambience and service was great

Chill atmosphere, great place to relax and unwind before exploring Bern and the old town. Cakes were average, coffee were the better ones I had in Switzerland. Initially staff wasn't very friendly and helpful as we obviously looked like tourists (Asians) and were looking for seats. Thankfully another staff was very friendly and make sure we had our orders taken and checks in with us. I would say the service quality is not very consistent across all the waiters, definitely need more training if they brand themselves as related to Einstein and a tourist place to visit.

Unfortunately my experience was not good in this place. Unfriendly service and rude answers from the waitress made me frustrated. I am in Switzerland since 2 weeks and I never felt this in any place. I was thinking to order a cake too but I didn't want to spend more time here and the cold coffee that I drank was only ok. 14/08/25 (time- 11:50)

What a delicious place! We got the cheesecake (absolutely perfect) club sandwich (WOOOOW) and the coffe is amazing! 100% recommended! ❤️
