Pad Thai Restaurant and Takeaway in Bern truly impressed us. The service was warm and attentive, and every dish felt thoughtfully prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. We asked for Thai hot, and they delivered — not the toned-down version, but proper heat that brought out the full flavour of the dishes. What really stood out was the steady flow of Thai customers coming in for both dine-in and takeaway. It’s always a good sign when locals from the culture trust a place — it speaks to the authenticity. If you're after genuine Thai food in Bern, this spot is absolutely worth a visit.

I had the vegetarian green curry with tofu and it was delicious. For dessert, you can't miss the spectacular homemade coconut ice cream! Congrats for the food and service, I really loved everything.

I’ve been to Pad Thai in Bern many times and it’s always great. Super friendly staff and really tasty food. One of my favorite spots in the city!

The service was fast and friendly. The place is tiny, and popular, so it’s best to reserve. The prices for some things seemed a little high, even for Switzerland. that plate of satay chicken, with two medium sized skewers was 13.5 CHF, and a really basic vegetarian noodle dish was over 20 CHF. The beef salad was tasty, as was the green curry with tofu. Tap water costs a franc per glass. They are located right in the old town which must explain some of the prices.

Had lunch today with a friend. We ordered small papaya salad, spicy beef salad and Shrimp padthai. All was amazing. The padthai has lots of big Shrimps. The beef salad was really good, the spices was just perfect, not too spicy and great to be eaten with rice.
