We had a great brunch here - really chilled vibe, great food and delicious coffee! Peak times can be quite busy but staff remain friendly and a bit of a wait for food and ordering just means more time to relax and enjoy a chat. We really recommend this place!

Wartsaal is a fantastic spot for a delicious brunch or a mouthwatering burger. The food is fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared, with generous portions that leave you satisfied. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, perfect for a casual meal with friends or family. Service is friendly and efficient, making for an all-around great dining experience. Highly recommended!

Great cafe that kindly seated our group of 9 and were very helpful and friendly when making the reservation via email. All our group enjoyed the brunch dishes (the rosti and special sauce were a particular favourite) which were reasonably priced for the generous portions and fresh pastries. Food and drinks arrived quickly, but only service wasn’t great - fairly abrupt and with a constant scowl as if guests were an inconvenience - possibly as we were partly an English-speaking group. Didn’t dampen the experience though.

Lovely food, lovely service! We had the Rösti for brunch and it was delicious (a tinnnyyyy bit too salty) and the portions were very filling a beautifully presented! Definitely going to come back! The prices were also very good for the portions size. :)

We had a perfect brunch in Bern. A nice 10-15 minutes walk from the main Bern station. They can serve a French omelette, scrambled eggs or fried eggs until 13:30 on the weekend, with an enjoyable café atmosphere.
