The best and the most authentic Indian Food in Basel. Diana was very kind and polite. Would highly recommend.

Full of flavours, fresh tasting and healthy food. I recommend the option where you can choose two dishes from the many. It was enough for me because the food was very nourishing and I had a delicious mango lassie in addition but you can request more food for the same price. It’s a very good deal for big eaters. Don’t forget to take the chutneys they are very good too. Given the comments from people who are in the evening I would definitely choose to eat here for lunch. It’s delicious.

Food is quite tasty. Preparation is quite good. The challenge seems to be erratic service especially on Saturdays. A couple of times I have waited for more than 15-20 minutes for the person to come back and take the order. Either update the opening times so that people don’t have to wait or kindly ensure that someone is there to take the order. It has now become a reason why I avoid eating here on Saturday’s.

Have your Indian dish many times surrounded by a flea / recycled /garage sale market. There are couple of good option for Veg too. Go to place in Basel & open also on weekends. Near to central train station.

So though the food the air changes—heady aromas of cardamom, cumin, and sizzling masalas immediately transport you to the heart of India. Every dish is passionately crafted: velvety dal, tender curries tinged with rich aromatics, and breads baked to golden perfection. Though there's no buffet, yo can take as many times you like until your soul is fully nourished. Truly, it delivers full magical flavor—each bite crowned with care, passion, and authenticity. A must for anyone craving the soul of Indian cooking in Basel!"**
