The general concept of this restaurant was very unique and interesting; test tubes, beakers and dry ice. A great restaurant for dinner and cocktails if you want to try something different.

Portions were quite small and the taste was average. The table, glasses, and overall decor were noticeably dusty, which affected the overall experience. On the positive side, the location was central and the restroom was clean. Still, I wouldn’t choose to return.

Since I only had cocktails that’s all I can rate on but what fun! Unique cocktails in great environment! Definitely worth the stop!

A perfect way to celebrate my 50th. We booked the flying dinner for a group of 30 and had half of the restaurant as our private area. Julian was amazing and helped us to plan the party. They created 2 signature cocktail for us for the night with a welcome candyfloss prosecco with syrup in test tubes. We had a flying dinner giving everyone the chance to mingle and then sit down later if we wanted to. The food was superb and plentiful with many small dishes which could be eaten with fingers or with tweezers. The food, cocktails and the venue were superb. All of my guests have been in touch today to say how much they enjoyed the evening. The ambience was cosy and comfortable with amazing decor and lots of fun to be had with the theatre of the drinks and food. Thank you to all at the Alchemist for making it such a special night for us.

The outstanding ambience as well as the main idea of old chemist cooking is here fine-tuned to the smallest detail. Very kind, caring and helpful staff. We took full vegan menu and the portions were very big, dishes creative and ultra tasty. We are definitely coming back the upcoming season for the next cooking inspirations.
