Excellent food and service. The waitstaff was very professional, and the service was fast. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available
We stayed at the hotel at the corner and found this cozy asian restaurant. Followed recommendations found here and tried crispy duck with fried rice, bingo. Loved it also noodles are very tasty. The staff is very friendly and prices are decent with big portions. Will be back
The food was good but the waitress seemed to be stressed out and she was not as kind to us as to people that arrived after us. Was it the language? Was it the missing reservation? We'll never know for sure. The other waiter, a younger man, seemed way nicer. The negative experience was also reflected in the tip that we left. After we finished eating, no one came to us to ask whether we wanted a cup of coffee or some dessert. We waited for 10-12 minutes then decided to call the waiter and simply go. Otherwise we would have ordered at least another drink. π
My favorite Asian restaurant in Basel! Their duck rice is so delicious I am craving for it almost every week. Lunch time can be busy and crowded and I would suggest to arrive before noon. The price is fairly reasonable and you can also order food to go. Other than the highly recommended duck rice, pho is also pretty tasty π
4.5 stars. Amazing customer service! I would recommend the Viet Coffee & the Saigon Beer. For the bun bo hue (spicy beef noodle soup) the only thing that was stopping me from giving it 5 stars is that the broth did not have enough beef flavour to it & the beef portioning was quite small. Other than that, everything was delicious!
