One of the best places in Basel I’ve been too. Super authentic food and great atmosphere. We ordered two meals, a soup and drinks, everything was delicious like I expected it to be. The duck meat was so juicy and nicely served. Highly recommend to visit this place if you want to eat real Chinese cuisine. The lovely part of the place is people, two ladies were so sweet and polite to us, welcoming and caring, also brought me a small dessert at the end because of my birthday. I will definitely comeback soon 🩷

China Restaurant 99 in Basel serves authentic Szechuan cuisine. Having been here a few times, have always found the service extremely warm and friendly. We ordered a Noodles Soup with Chicken, a Szechuan Hot and Sour Soup, Fried Spring Onion Bread and a Jiao Zi (boiled dumplings). The soups were delicious, and the food was warm and flavourful. Highly recommend.

A wonderful restaurant with authentic Chinese food. The staff is very friendly and happy to cater for special wishes like less or extra spicy food. We enjoyed the tasteful decoration and relaxed atmosphere. Our dishes were all very fresh and of high quality. This being Switzerland, the Szechuan dishes could have done with extra pepper but the kind owner said that we just should request it next time. In view of Swiss fussiness regarding spice levels and what is considered ,hot’ here, the dishes were brilliant and I am just very happy that finally a dedicated team has brought real Chinese food to Basel. I've eaten in the restaurant a few times and ordered many times. I've grown up with chinese food so it's my favourite comfort food place whenever I crave it and it's the best & authentic chinese restaurant in Basel. Would recommend it to anyone. Also staff is super friendly!

Different meals than the other restaurant i loved the tofu chop suey! Really nice flavor really subtle:) Definitely return in and the cat robot is awesome
