We arrived without a reservation and had a fantastic dinner! The fixed menu can be a touch more challenging for those who can’t eat everything, but the kitchen and service team did a great job trying to work through them. If you take the fixed price menu, you may want to clearly find out what is covered and what is an extra item. No regrets going here. A great team and a fabulous meal.

The food was absolutely fabulous, we had so much fun and the wine pairing excelent. The staff was so nice to give us a table without reservation. It was truly an experience. The restaurant is a cute place, intimate and elegant, perfect for a date.

This place was really fabulous! We had a four course menu and every course was just perfect, special, and delicious - the meat was just on point although we were quite a large group. The outdoor seating contributed to the great atmosphere on this warm summer evening. The courses could have been served a bit quicker, but assume it took longer since we were quite a large group. We will come back!

Great, thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented and - - most importantly super tasty food lands on the table with no other option but to enjoy every bite. Been several times and each time one of the courses is standout above the rest - sometimes the dishes are a little on the salty side but overall super! The only niggle of the place are the acoustics - if something could be done there it would be perfect - and as a side note, the kitchen is in the restaurant itself - it's a pleasure to watch the team work and interact - it's apparent where the quality comes also from the fluid and convivial teamwork - thank you for bringing this restaurant to Basel :)

A wonderful experience in Basel with amazing meals made with great products and a lot of love by Chef Matthieu and his team! It’s highly recommended, even though on the high side in terms of budget!
