After trying so many overpriced and disappointing places in Basel, this was a refreshing and heartwarming experience. Truly worth a visit — the food tastes just like something from your grandma’s kitchen! We’ve been here twice already and will definitely be coming back!
Situated close to the Rhine (just at the drop of Johanniterbrucke in the Kleinbasel side). Great atmosphere (esthetic indoor and lazy outdoor options) Friendly and welcoming staffs. Authentic wide gastronomy (just that- the pad thai we took, could have been a bit better), otherwise very recommended overall.
There is a wide variety of Asian food in this restaurant, including Chinese, Thai and Indian dishes. Tried the fried duck which was quite good. Sampled the red curry, which was tasty too. Some may find it a tad spicy, but you can tell the staff to tone down the spiciness Edit 22 Oct - returned for dinner with a group of colleagues. We had a good casual time here. Thanks to the restaurant for accommodating 11 of us
A combination of delicious classic asian dishes with various house specials. The food and service are great and the setting make for a real treat and somewhere to celebrate a special occasion or indulge in the moment! The owners have done a great renovation to the interior and have created a modern warm restaurant without losing the character of the building and making the best of the corner layout.
Amazing experience. The waiter was very kind and the food was excellent. Can only recommend the homemade dumplings as a starter, as well as the spring rolls. Had a curry and pad thai as mains, which were both delicious.
