Lu Restaurant Basel

I love the mezze and their aubergine menu (not in the picture, forgot to take pictures)! The mezze is probably best mezze I’ve ever had in my life. Always my top picks from the menu. The kebab can sometimes be a bit salty for my taste, though. Service is fast and friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the vibe is welcoming. Food in Europe can be boring for my asian tongue but Lu is my top choice whenever a relatives come to Basel. Highly recommend this!

This little restaurant is such a great treat! The decoration is really nicely put together and the staff is very kind, sweet and helpful. The best part is the food, we ordered a mixture of wraps, mezze and lahmacun. All dishes were beautifully arranged and the taste was amazing! Prices are as per Swiss standards but you will be full for sure. All in all I’m very happy I went there and can only recommend it to anyone looking for a tasty meal.

Went on a Sunday evening - surprisingly busy. The food was delicious! Dinner took a while but the owner was very kind. Definitely recommend.

Great flavours and quality food with friendly service. Outside seating available. Extensive choice of dips, starters and mains and good drink selection too.

We came here following the good ratings. However, we were disappointed by the food and service. The food was average, home style but not restaurant standard for the price. Mezzes were alright but adana and içli köfte did not meet our expectations. The waiting time was long even when the restaurant was half empty.
