Happy Wok

We had a fantastic experience at Happy Wok! The staff were super friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. The food was really delicious — we had main courses at the restaurant, and there were lots of vegetarian options, which you could mix with your choice of meat. We also ordered fried bananas with ice cream to go. The staff were so kind and helped keep the ice cream cold by packing it with ice. They even gave us extra ice for our drinks at the hotel and some spoons since we didn’t have any. Great service and tasty food — we really recommend this place!

Happy Wok Basel – A Hidden Gem! Great food and very authentic! The flavors are wonderful, and the service is both friendly and fast. The homemade iced tea is a real treat—refreshing and perfectly balanced. We highly recommend the Kung Pao Chicken and the Vietnamese noodles—both were delicious. We’ll definitely be coming back!

I went for dinner recently. While some of the dishes were quite tasty, others were just average. The portion sizes for the main courses were rather small, which led me to order additional items. What surprised me the most was being charged 8 CHF for tap water, something I found quite unreasonable. If such practices continue, the restaurant risks losing its regular patrons.

They cook with Love! When we visit this restaurant we feel like at home, this family is amazing! The prices are fair for the great quality of the food and the duck I believe is the best one in Basel! I totally recommend it.

Delicious and full of flavours Vietnamese broth with noodles! Friendly owners and nice atmosphere. Will be back there again for sure.
