Trattoria Sempre Zürich

Great tapas restaurant! We were looking for something other than German food, and this place hit the spot. Every dish we got was great and full of flavor. The vodka pasta was wonderful and the truffle arancini was INCREDIBLE! The atmosphere is great and our waiter was wonderful. A little expensive since you have to buy 2-3 tapas per person, but well worth it.

A fantastic concept — Italian-style tapas! The quality of the food is outstanding, and the service (especially Rocco:)) is warm and attentive. Both the indoor space and the garden offer a beautiful, welcoming atmosphere. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place!

We're under no illusion that Zurich is expensive however we felt that Trattoria Sempre Zurich wasn't honest on the menu out side. Firstly you learn at the table that it's tapas, Italian tapas? We had to get the waiter to explain that one again. Unfortunately for us, curiosity got the better of us. In a nut shell it's a tourist grab. Italian food should never be tapas. Now the taste was there, well in the polpette and the salad but the rest I thought was substandard. To charge what I would consider the correct price for the correct position would have been fine. But less than that for 6 slivers of beef and half of that was fat, not good. I could go on. If you want tapas and to pay a high price for it then fill you boots. Personally that's one trick I won't be falling for again. I am not a reviewer that blast everyone so when I do, take note. Something wasn't right.

Really tasty food, decent portions for Tapas. Our server was great and location was overlooking a square with musicians performing in the back. The truffle gnocchi were tremendous, as we're the roasted vegetables with vegan smoked cheese spread.

Irfan was an amazing waiter for us! We were sat in the terrace when we tried to book online. He recommended amazing dishes and made my guests feel at home.
