Exquisite cuisine and impeccable service at Soul. Alex was attentive, knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations. The food presentation was stunning and flavorful-The octopus was divine. Dishes are creative and perfectly prepared. Alex went above and beyond to make our sisters evening special and memorable. Highly recommend Soul!
A perfect dinner from start to finish. Creative dishes, beautifully balanced flavours, and great attention to detail. The chef’s passion was felt in every course – truly memorable!
Had brunch here on a Sunday afternoon. Location is old town in Zurich facing the Limmat, main tourist area and heart of Zurich. We had the Saksuka and Benedict Rolls, tried their cinnamon bun and Cappuccino. Coffee was really good, and food wad delicious. Main issue why I am removing one star is due to their limited bunch choices in general. Service while slow was good, folks were friendly and helpful. Would recommend for delicious brunch, while food options were limited, location is nice with a friendly service!
The place is fantastic. Every dish or drink we ordered were magnificent. We tried Buratta, Salmon ceviche, Beef Tataki and Tiramisu. Also we had lemonade, homemade tea and amaretto sour as a mocktail. Some positions were totally Michelin lvl. We enjoyed the experience immensely and it was especially refreshing to have something other then "potato and schnitzel for CHF 200". The chef was extremely professional and enthusiastic, and clearly has a big heart and talent. Next morning, we had coffee with carrot cake and they too were very-very good. It's a go-to place in Zurich for us now.
Make sure you ask for well done eggs for your Shakshuka. I noticed the table next to me ask for well done eggs for their Shakshuka which I didn’t understand till my one came. The eggs were very runny as standard so well done would come soft. It was the only item that they could do gluten free bread with which was home made and actually really nice. The portion sizes are very small here especially for the money but it was really tasty. I happened to visit in a day with really nice weather and sitting outside was so nice with the shade of the forecourt. The atmosphere was really nice, their cutlery and crockery was very nice. They provide house water which is really nice and cold so no need to pay for bottled water which helps as this place is a tad expensive but maybe not for Switzerland standards. Would definitely recommend
