What an incredible experience to have had in Zurich. Heugümper was the perfect selection for a birthday celebration. Our reservation was made months in advance, and despite this, they greeted us by name when we walked through the door. The staff had a wonderful (and rye) sense of humour, and had us laughing and at ease as soon as we were seated. The intimate atmosphere is still relaxed enough for a short sleeved, collared shirt and slacks. The food however is absolutely 5-star. It’s plated in an impressive way, and each course outdid the last. Thank you Heugümper for the wonderful meal and memory. We’ll be back.

This restaurant was an absolute gem! From start to finish, everything was exceptional—the appetizers, the wine, and the top-notch service. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. We had the tuna, which was so fresh and perfectly prepared, but the real standout was the goat cheese stuffed beet—such a unique and creative dish that was truly out of this world! The flavors were perfectly balanced and unlike anything we’ve had before. The service was warm and attentive, making the whole experience even better. If you're in Zurich and looking for an unforgettable meal, this is the place to go! 🍷✨

Came for a birthday dinner celebration. We loved our appetizers which were amazing with lots of flavour. The service was above average. She was very friendly, attentive and has great wine knowledge. The restaurant is nicely decorated, super clean, cozy and elegant. My personal rating out of 5 stars: Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tagliatelle with black truffles: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Baked tuna sashimi: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Crispy pork shank salad: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Roasted cauliflower vanilla soup: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Veal cordon bleu with brie: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Beef tenderloin with savoy cabbage: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you are dining here for the first time I recommend trying the baked tuna sashimi and crispy pork as starter. The main was good, and interesting. My personal highlight from the main: the cordon bleu and savoy cabbage strudel, the rest was good but nothing special. Overall a great experience and will definitely dine her again! Wunderbares Essen und sehr aufmerksamer Service! Gemütliches Ambiente, Preis für das Gebotene völlig ok.

Extremely slow service, it took 1h for the single staff to take our orders, even though we were seated upstairs in the group room. Very basic dishes from 1980 with barely any vegetarian options. Weird lights that flicker uncomfortably. In short, the kind of place where bankers go when someone else is paying.
