Kanoula

The shrimp saganaki was just a perfect blend of the ingredients. Albeit, I asked to forego with the customary presentation of the shrimp heads. A mushroom appetizer dish, along with the fresh bread was just right for one. Service and attention great but I was lucky to be seated as I didn't have a reservation. A rather dynamic sidewalk to sit at; from sunglass peddlers to hustlers, locals, to visitors, and a major 4 street intersection where cars also parked in a semi-circle, reducing space & traffic flow. Still, the higher end quality of food is a must to try.

We sampled two dishes that beautifully capture the spirit of modern Greek cuisine. Grilled Talagani Cheese developed a rich, lightly smoky flavor from the grill and was paired with Triantafyllo (rose chutney), which added a tangy sweetness and an intriguing contrast of smoky and floral notes. Sautéed Mushrooms were gently cooked in olive oil, wine, and almonds — a combination that preserved their texture and brought together the richness of the wine and the crisp nuttiness of the almonds. The result was balanced, flavorful, and satisfying. The meal was accompanied by a Vergina blonde draft beer, brewed in Komotini in northern Greece, which paired beautifully with the food. A wonderful modern Greek restaurant — truly deserving of the praise it receives from its guests.

The menu is creative, offering traditional Greek flavors with a unique twist — everything tasted fresh and carefully prepared. The service was friendly and attentive, with staff who are happy to explain the dishes and recommend great wine pairings. Portions were generous, and the quality was outstanding for the price. Highly recommend . Perfect spot for both locals and visitors looking for a memorable dining experience.

We went here 3 times during our holiday in Thessaloniki. And you know why. Food: The moussaka was super delicious and I recommend it to everyone. I ordered it twice during our 3-time visits. I also loved the grilled sausages. My boyfriend tried 2 types of pastas besides the moussaka and he enjoyed each of them. Environment and Service: During the weekdays you can just walk-in. But it is best to make an appointment if you are going during the weekend especially in the peak hours. The staffs were super friendly, wearing big smiles and always ready to help you. I would say I am more than satisfied during our visits. Overal I would like to give this restaurant 6 out of 5.

Very tasty food, here we enjoyed the best Greek salad we had in 7 days. Shrimp Saganaki and Pulled Beef were also amazing. We also received carrot cake from the house - really tasty. The waiter was really nice as well. We were allowed to bring coffee and a fresh juice from outside because they don't have on the menu - a plus. The whole service was really nice and supportive to accommodate our needs. We also received recommendations (we asked for some details).
