Best traditional restaurant in Timisoara ! Very nice food ,fresh and tasty local beer also! Good service and right prices in a warm and comfortable location. Highly recomended!
The best restaurant around Timisoara in Calea Sagului Best beef bone marrow in Eastern Europe! Great soups! Everything on the menu is excellent!
Food was amazingly tasty. Normal pricing. We were seated right away, as we were only 2. Will return again.
An old staple of the city - since it’s renovation is even better - very helpful and lovely staff - good traditional food and not just - lovely ambiance
When you come in there is a hotel or something upstairs so you have to walk through that lobby to get to the restaurant. Once you get to the restaurant it is very nice inside. They also have a nice patio as well. We chose to sit outside. The vibe is very upscale modern dining inside and a rustic modern vibe outside. The service is not really what you would expect if we were in America, but I think is par for the course when it comes to what I expect in Europe. Very straight to the point. Simple greeting and then what do you want to eat and drink. Thapa our server did take it to another level though with his very attentive and quick service. If we asked for something he got it for us quickly and also bagged our leftovers for us. FOOD: Ciorba de Burta: This was good. Not life changing but still tasty. The amount of stomach in the soup is awesome! You have a chance to get a piece of meat with every bite! Special Grill: The cook on all of the pork was delicious and while it was all pork it did not feel as heavy. The only thing was the cotlet porc gurmand being a little dry but only because it was cut already when it got to the table. The chicken was also delicious and the veggies were a welcome break from the meat. The Carnati were also delicious and the spice in them was also a nice break from the straight savoriness of the pork. The potatoes were okay. Overall: Thapa was our server and he was great! We had some great conversation towards the end of the meal but anything we asked for he was on it and also made very frequent rounds as well. Nora delivered on what I was looking for as far as a meat platter. I think it would have been nice to have some other beef or something on the special grill, but overall it was great.
