We came here for the 1st time today on a passing visit and it won't be the last. Paul is very welcoming and a great host. Food is excellent, one of the best breakfasts I have had and the girls very happy with their food. Everything is done properly and to a very high standard. The homemade baked beans were 👌🏼 It's nice to have such a great independent place to go to rather than the usual options. Thanks for a great breakfast!

Lovely independent café with plenty of options for everyone. Paul, Lyn and Lee do the utmost to make you feel welcome. They are very friendly and accommodating for dietary requirements. They even serve vegan sweet treats! The food is very well-seasoned and the coffee is wonderful. Highlights are the homemade beans and the scrambled tofu/(scrambled eggs). We will definitely be back! 😊

Had such a lovely experience here, compliments to the owner for his welcoming nature and the amazing coffee/cakes. It’s lovely to see an independent business thriving that makes every customer feel special. I will definitely be coming back with my Mum again!

This is honestly one of the best breakfast spots I’ve ever been to – absolutely nothing to fault, from the service to the quality of the food. It was super busy, but the owner went out of his way to find us a table, which was really appreciated. The ingredients were top-notch, with some lovely twists like homemade beans and a hash brown that’s more like a mash with spinach – so good! The owner even shared the story behind it, inspired by his childhood, which made it even more special. The tea was spot on too – not many places in Birmingham serve a proper pot of Earl Grey that tastes this good. It is a bit on the pricey side, but it’s one of those places where you really get what you pay for – totally worth it. Well done, guys – you’re absolutely smashing it. I’ll definitely be back soon. Thanks again!

Absolutely fabulous place for breakfast. We had the traditional and vegetarian and both were delicious. Great coffee and juice, plus superb service from Paul and the team. Can't wait to come back!
