Brightsmith on the Water

Absolutely fantastic. Coming from the U.S. where 5 Star Steaks are ever present…this restaurant is a must try & definitely lives up to the standards we are accustomed to. Make a reservation ahead! View by the water is great, our waitress Denisa helped accommodate our special requests, and we couldn’t have been more satisfied. Thank you! Would love to come again some day. Amazing flavor, and the food stayed warm throughout our meal so every bite was just right.

I stayed at the Hilton over the weekend and we were lucky enough to experience Brightsmith. As the restaurant hasn't had the official opening yet it was fairly quiet but the menu was still extensive for food and drinks. We started off only ordering cocktails but did move onto the food after seeing the prices. Slightly higher than other places (as you'd expect from the Hilton) but portion sizes were plentiful and definitely worth the money. The drinks were stunning and had a flair to them that you won't get in most places. We thoroughly enjoyed what we tried. You can also order non-alcohol versions of the cocktails but the price won't change due to the use of a non-alcohol spirit (it isn't just juice). We did have some issues with incorrect food coming out (we ordered risotto sides but received mains) however the staff ensured we were not charged incorrectly and corrected the bill with ease. Apologies were also given. All in all, lovely decor, amazing food and drinks. I will be back next time I am in Birmingham. Nice food and lovely ambiance. Excellent service at time a bit slow, if you are not in a hurry then no problem.. I have my meal here while staying in the hilton metropole. It’s dinner all the time. Food n desert menu are a bit limited.

Had a delightful evening at Brightsmith. The food was delicious – every dish was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. The presentation was equally impressive, with beautifully plated meals that elevated the entire experience. Great atmosphere and a place I’d happily return to.
