A fun little place with a pretty varied menu. From what I saw at other people's tables all the food looked good. The food I had was great, the black pork was especially rich. Otherwise the rice hoppers were totally different to what I expected and a genuinely good bew experience for me. Id totally go back and bring people with me. The cocktails were nice but not amazing. Overall, perhaps a little expensive, but its hard to tell at the moment with every price going higher.
Nadu in Bristol was fantastic. The aubergine pickle was a real standout, so good I’d go back just for that. The dosa was perfectly crisp, the Chettinad chicken full of spice and flavor, and the lamb korma rich and comforting. Great food, relaxed vibe and definitely worth a visit.
Had to come to the highly rated Sri Lankan restaurant and there was no disappointment. Situated in the lively Stoke Croft area of Bristol. Massive warm welcome from the staff and slick and happy service throughout. Smashed through the watermelon and chili cocktails which were great. The columbo pork chops were sensational. We also had the marrow and a prawn curry. Rice and breads were great. Top atmosphere and nice decor. Reasonable prices too. Our French server was sound as anything and a pleasure of a time was had. Thanks very much indeed.
An absolute gem in Bristol. Conveniently located, Nadu vibes is lovely and very atmospheric. We went here as a part of our food tour, and we were served such amazing curry. We love the cashew one- just absolutely tasty. Their menu has a great variety and I would definitely love to come back. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. 10/10 highly recommend.
Went for dinner at Nadu yesterday evening, and it was some of the best food I have had in bristol. We ordered the Lamb Rolls, Spring Onion Poriyal, Tawa Fish, Matta Rice and the Lamb Korma Curry to share. The food was perfectly flavourful and not heavy. I highly recommend the Arrackuirri cocktails as well, especially if you are a lover of cardamom! The staff were all very kind and the service quick even though they had a large party. I will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend.
