A brasserie with Indian flavors! We loved it!! My husband had Le Tiffin which came in really pretty dishes and was delicious. Very tasty and lots of levels of flavour…. and I had the catch of the day which was delicious. We had a very warm welcome, great food and service and would definitely recommend.
The place was lovely and we were greeted by a few friendly staff, both saying hello and welcoming us. The decor was really pleasant and the atmosphere was buzzing without being busy. The service throughout was brilliant and attentive, with water and steak knives (the things a lot of restaurants miss) being tended too. The food came quickly and was not rushed, even though there was a fair few tables, and was delicious! The icing on the cake was the cocktails, which are usually served as an extra, but here they felt like part of the experience. Karthik (I made sure to fetch his name because he was brilliant) made, served and explained each cocktail, which were well priced, and made the night feel special. Every cocktail, of which we had many, were brilliant! Although we came from Manchester, we would come back just for this! See you again! Thanks
I booked a table for 8 to celebrate my birthday (but didn't mention this in advance). I'd not been here before so was unsure what to expect but I'm so glad I booked here because it was the best restaurant I've been to in a long time and the best dining experience I think I've ever had! When we arrived, we were given a fantastic table in a partitioned section of the restaurant, which was a lovely surprise and made it feel like private dining. It was beautifully decorated in the restaurant, the table had a gorgeous floral centerpiece and the fact it was a large square table meant it was very sociable and easy to chat with everyone there. The service was faultless - so attentive, professional and friendly. I had the best 'old fashioned' cocktail I've ever had (and I've had a few), the food was incredible, so much so, several of us shared a few mouthfuls of each others' as we had food envy. I really recommend the Tiffin - what a showpiece! The desserts and dessert cocktails were delicious and unique and, to end, the waiter brought out a surprise birthday brownie with a candle and everyone sang happy birthday to me! Thank you for making my birthday one to remember. My friends and I all had the best time and we'll definitely be back. I've already recommended you to so many people! Loved it! Update: we've just been back for a second time to celebrate my husband's birthday (just the 2 of us) and it was a lovely evening again. The waiter even remembered us from our previous visit which was a nice touch. The best 'old fashioned' in town! Can't wait to come back and try their Sunday roast.
We had a wonderful lunch at MUSE. The staff were were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was presented beautifully and was delicious. A particular highlight was the cocktails which were amazing. We had a lovely chat with the mixologist who explained the inspiration behind each one. Will definitely be visiting again.
We came here to celebrate our anniversary and absolutely loved it. The place is gorgeous and has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. To start, I ordered the crayfish and prawn ravioli, but they were out of crayfish, so it came with scallops instead—and honestly, it was incredible. Easily one of the best starters I’ve had in a long time. My partner had the crispy calamari with chilli coconut and polenta, served with sriracha mayo. We were expecting something fried because of the word “crispy,” but it was more breadcrumb-coated, which wasn’t quite what we hoped for. We’d probably recommend choosing a different starter if that’s what you’re after. The drinks were a highlight. I had the Blueberry Bourbon Sour with my food—so good. My partner had a mocktail called Play Date, and that was delicious too. For mains, I had the Gressingham duck breast with crispy polenta and croquettes, finished with a passionfruit jus. It was amazing. I’m still thinking about it. My partner went for the smoked haddock kedgeree with spiced arborio rice, onion bhaji, and quail egg. It was packed with flavour—kind of like a rich, savoury risotto. Stunning dish. Instead of a dessert, we went for a dessert cocktail each: Lemon Meringue Pie. These were a fun twist and absolutely hit the spot. And to top it all off, they surprised us with a complimentary anniversary dessert, which was such a thoughtful touch—and also delicious. We’ll 100% be coming back. This place has officially become our new favourite restaurant.
