I would very much recommend this place. Good food and they have terrace view as well. You should def try their fruit scones, the jam was absolutely delicious and the cream not two sweet, overall a perfect balance. The fries were also perfect, crispy on the outside, soft inside, but not too oily. It was slightly on the salty side through. Happy eating :)

Scott’s Kitchen is the perfect spot for breakfast in Edinburgh, especially if you arrive by train early in the morning. The location on Victoria Street is beautiful and worth the walk. The staff are friendly, the prices are fair, and the menu offers a good variety of choices. A wonderful start to the day with great food and atmosphere.

It's a beautiful place with an awesome view of the street below. Recommended to sit outside for a lovely view. The staff is amazing and courteous. For the best drinks, ask the staff. Their recommendations are the best. Drinks We had whisky with lime & honey and it was amazing. For kids they have fruit juices. Food We ordered potato wedges and they were nice. Service Their service is amazing. All their staff is so courteous and helpful. If you want to take a beautiful picture of the colorful street below, this place has the best angle. Highly recommended for an evening drink.

We ate here on both our first and last days in Edinburgh—because it was just that good! The haggis, soup, crispy sausage, and venison were all absolutely delicious. The service was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. The location is ideal—just above Victoria Street—offering a quiet spot while still being close enough to enjoy the charm and views of the area. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place on a gorgeous street. Staff were smiley and courteous but not overbearing. Drinks came quickly, food took long enough to know they made it fresh but not too long. Food was amazing! My husband had the Scott’s breakfast - he said it was so light for a “fry up” and tasted fresh, not greasy or heavy at all. The French toast was divine. I could eat it every day!
