A very stylish and elegant restaurant. The food was absolutely fantastic, and the service struck the perfect balance – attentive without being over the top. I’d highly recommend the Baby Gem as a side dish, it was a real highlight. Prices are on the higher end, but absolutely fair for the quality you get. Overall a great experience, and I’ll definitely return the next time I’m in Edinburgh.

we came here to celebrate my friends birthday and had a wonderful time! first they accommodated to the fact we were late to our original time. once we arrived we were introduced to our server who was accommodating the whole meal - thank you to alessio (apologies if name is slightly incorrect) the food itself was fantastic i order the ravioli which was delicious however if you do have a slightly bigger palate i would suggest getting some sides which i shared- specifically the spicey mac and cheese with bacon was my favourite thing of the whole meal! we also ended up getting dessert where i chose the brownie which was very rich and filling. also as it was my friends birthday they provided her with a free cheesecake and some prosecco! overall was lovely experience however there was a long wait time to get our meal ordered and for it to arrive but the quality of the meal did make up for that fact !

We’ve been to Gaucho Tower Bridge, but this one was so much nicer in every way. The decoration is amazing and the staff is so friendly. The food was really nice too. I really enjoyed the empanadas. The fact that it’s in the centre of the city is really convenient because it’s a good way to run away from the touristy places without having to go too far from the city. I certainly recommend it if you’re not on a budget.

Greeted warmly and served by C who was initially very attentive, up until taking our orders for mains. As the restaurant became busier, C was no more to be seen except a fleeting visit to take our dessert orders (some 20 minutes after giving us the menus). After we placed our order for desserts, he practically snatched the menus from our hands. Clearly, over-run with tables and too many people to serve. Managed to get the bill after about 10 minutes of trying to get anyone’s attention, it then took about a further 10 minutes to try and get someone to take payment. When we asked the manager (the male situated downstairs) if we could pay our bill he snapped ‘your table server will deal with that’ and walked off. As we were leaving the restaurant, the male manager then barged past us with a muttered ‘’scuse me’. The food was absolutely spot on (if I’m being slightly picky, one of the steaks was slightly more than medium-rare but nevertheless very good, still). What a massive let down on service. One would expect far better for a bill presented of £265 (2 adults and 2 children for perspective). [servers name omitted for anonymity]

We had a lovely lunch date. The prawn chicharron was absolutely delicious and despite the size of the steak it was really tender and nice. Amazing value food and our service by Andrea was spectacular. Would recommend
