The Ivy On The Square Edinburgh

We recently visited and while the food was absolutely delicious. We did feel a bit rushed at the beginning of the service. Our server, Mimi, was genuinely lovely—friendly, attentive, and made the effort to check in with us throughout the meal. Every dish we ordered was full of flavor and beautifully presented. It's clear the kitchen knows what they’re doing, and we’d happily come back just for the food. All in all great food, decent service, and a lovely server—being rushed at the start did affect our overall impression.

Always love the Ivy chain. First time in this one. The Service was excellent and Martha from Bergamo Italy was a credit to the establishment. The starters were delicious but the main course was not up to the usual standard. Marta sorted it out. Happy to return.

Delicious food and had the two course meal which was excellent value. My starter was beautifully presented and tomato on whipped cream and topped with edible flowers. Truly devine. The vegetarian sweat potato and broccoli curry was also full of different flavours and well cooked rice. Gorgeous interior design and green plants creating a natural dining experience. Service was good but a bit slow. Bar staff were very friendly. Our waitress was lovely, friendly and knowledge

An excellent choice if you want to have a good brunch, get energised and then explore Edinburgh for the rest of the day! They have a good selection for Brunch! Dimitris was really kind and made it a pleasant experience marking a good start for the day!

A rather sleek elegant venue with superb customer service. Offering a range of food and drinks to suit all tastes this a very popular and in demand place to be. With seating upstairs, downstairs, at the bar and outside, the staff do their best to accommodate all customers. They do accept walk ins, however best to book. A beautiful place. There was a "service charge" but staff should notify you of this. As always the staff do appreciate being nice to as well as tips 👍
