Lazord Syrian Street Food

The food was delicious, with generous portions. It's the best Shawarma I've had in Scotland, prepared in an authentic Syrian style. While slightly salty and rich, it melts in your mouth. The salads and French fries are fantastic. The prices are quite reasonable, though they don't accept card payments—but the warm and friendly staff more than make up for it. Overall, a great experience that I’d happily return for.

We had our first taste of Syrian food while visiting Glasgow, and it was absolutely incredible. We ordered falafel, chicken with rice, and shawarma — every dish was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Even the kids couldn’t get enough! The owner was genuinely kind and welcoming, going above and beyond by opening the doors early just to accommodate us. It felt like we were being welcomed into someone’s home rather than just another restaurant. Highly recommend for anyone looking to try something new or enjoy authentic Syrian cuisine.

Shawarma + Chips + Cheese plate (with some veg pickles and sauce) for 8£ is a bargain, with no compromise on taste! Worth every penny - Allahumma Barik!!

Delicious! Young gentleman recommended the Rotisserie Chicken. Oh My - this was delicious! The Rice!!! Mega Delicious! The pickled veg!!! Guess what?? Delicious!!! Fabulous flavours! Generous portions and excellent value for money. Highly recommend! We will be back for sure!
