We popped in for lunch one afternoon during our visit to Scotland and had a nice meal each. The atmosphere was a little run-down but definitely homely and had that classic pub vibe. The service was friendly enough but one staff member came across quite dismissive and uninterested. Noone coming to check the food was okay etc, no asking about anymore drinks. The food itself was fine. It's lucky in itself to have a place like this with all vegan food so it was a good, safe option during a visit. But the food we had was quite uninspired and bland, especially considering the price. Overall just a fine visit, would go back if we visit again and try something else but would definitely recommend looking around elsewhere for something more interesting first. I would hesitate to say it's worth the price.
Friendly staff, tasty food, and very stylish interior. There is artwork on display from various artists and a section where you can browse music records. Food is deliciously prepared and of a very high standard. We came back again the next day. Highly recommend for vegetarians and vegans.
Excellent vegan food in an atmosphere that is aquaint relaxed blend of Mexican, youth club, cross channel ferry at midnight. The staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. The food is splendid, the haggis burger is one of the best haggis products ever, a Smokey fake meat burger topped with a vegan haggis and mayo. Naturally a stack like that gets a little sloppy if you eat it like a burger but it held together well. The fries were perfect, it was missing a side salad, so I could at least pretend I was being healthy. The desert was a sundae, took me back to a childhood holiday at Butlins but the flavours were more mature with caramel and nut sprinkled on top. A 5/5 experience.
A couple of friends suggested we go here - I had never been. Really spacious with an outside seating area as well. Seems to have different menus for inside and outside but not entirely sure. It was quiet which was nice and there is a lot to choose from on the menu. The service was fine - nothing super special but attentive enough and at no point did we feel rushed. I had the Pizza Crunch which was delicious! Good price range as well.
Mono is a fantastic spot for vegans in Glasgow! 🌱🍔 The menu is 100% plant-based, with a great variety of options, from burgers to pizzas. I tried the vegan cheese toastie, and it was absolutely delicious. 🧀🔥 The atmosphere is super chill, and they even have a record shop inside, which adds to the vibe. 🎶 The staff are friendly, and the place has a relaxed, artsy feel. A must-visit if you're into good food and cool vibes!
