Fat Hippo Glasgow

Great wee spot! Good atmosphere with cool decor. First time at Fat Hippo. Service was great and I asked for there recommendation on the Plantbased burgers and was suggested to try the NOTORIOUS VFC 2.0 which btw did not disappoint! Probably the best burger I’ve had all year. The fries and side of frickles were a tad under done. Maybe just a one off? However the burger definitely made up for the whole meal. I would definitely return. Very nice staff

Great for celiacs! The staff were really helpful and clued up with everything and they have halal chicken too! Although chicken is not gf, only beef, so the only option for me was the vegan burger. But I really liked it and would defos go again :) Lunch menu is great value (£9.50 for a burger and a side)

Visited for lunch a going to cinema with my children. It was a very hot sunny day and we got seated at front window, the sun beating through the window made for a uncomfortable experience, they need some form of sun shade for these rare occasions. The toilets are downstairs, they are clean. The downstairs seating is sir conditioned, if you like to be cool. The food was amazing, generous portions and well presented. One thing to note, if you are asked if you wants sauce/dips be aware some cost extra, didn't notice this until thr bill came. It does mention the costs in the menu, so be aware. Overall, good food, not a 5 star on this occasion.

Came up to Scotland to visit my family and my daughter recommended this restaurant. My wife and I weren’t dissatisfied. The burgers and chicken were amazing alongside starters like cheese balls and frickles, just wow. Massive thanks to staff who were attentive and thoroughly professional, we will certainly be returning or at least visiting one of their chain restaurants.

First time at fat hippo and was absolutely blown away, not only was the food immaculate the table service and staff were top tier. Our server Grace made sure we had everything we needed from start to finish. She definitely made the experience 10x better.
