To say that this meal was the surprise highlight of our trip is an understatement. From start to finish, the attention to detail, warmth, presentation and pure hedonistic dopamine release was mind blowing. I cannot heap enough praise on the chef and his team of rockstars. This is a restaurant to go out of your way to visit.
We had a wedding celebration small group here, and the service exceeded our expectations - really helpful and flexible staff, and the group of 9 had a fantastic time for the evening. The food was delicious, especially appreciated the veggie tasting menu. We enjoyed some unique wines that paired nicely, and the cocktails were all delicious. Would highly recommend! Thanks Unalome for treating us all to a lovely and memorable evening!
I had a fantastic meal/birthday celebration here. The service and staff were fantastic and so was the food. Everything that was delivered to us was explained in great detail and tasted amazing, not once was I let down my flavour or presentation. Through no fault of their own (the staff) we were sat next to a family with three small children that were running around the restaurant and trying to be involved in our cheese plate presentation when it was brought out and the parents did not apprehended them. This isnt a reflection of the staff or the restaurant but for the price we paid for the meal I would expect to put up with that behaviour in a Toni macaroni not a Michelin star restaurant
Delicious lunch with dishes of the highest standard coupled with excellent service. They create a lovely atmosphere which is relaxed and fun but still focussed on all the little details which you would expect from a Michelin rated restaurant. Comparing it to other similar places we’ve tried it really nailed this balance. The food was fantastic, allowing excellent ingredients to shine.
We enjoyed a fabulous dinner at UNALOME - my husband went for the regular 6-course tasting dinner while I had the vegetarian tasting dinner. Before dessert, we shared a selection of cheese. The restaurant is located in a nicely renovated historical building and pretty stylish. The atmosphere is rather casual though - no dinner jacket required. Staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The sommelier who introduced the wine pairing did an amazing job not only with the excellent pairings, but also with introducing the wines and explaining why he chose then. Before the actual tasting dinner started, a couple of amouse-buche bites were served - I had mentioned being pescetarian which was immediately considered for the appetizers. That's not necessarily the case even in fine dining restaurants and showcases the high service level. Food was excellent, both tasting dinners featured seasonal and regional products. The style was light but strongly flavored with herbs and spices. My personal highlight was the dessert consisting of goat cheese and fennel - not too sweat, light and airy, very creative. Overall a great experience. Service is top notch, food modern yet down to earth, and the wine pairing exceptional.
