I had a falafel wrap and my sister had a gluten free design your own sandwich with jackfruit. The food was delicious! And the staff were so lovely ☺️ my sister had a good chat with the counter staff about avocados lol. Very well priced too. Have been meaning to come here for ages and will certainly be back again.
Came here for lunch after a walk in Pollok country park. The sandwiches and wraps are creative, tasty and filling. The hash browns also stood out, and the cinnamon rolls were the best we've ever had. The prices are very reasonable for the quantity and quality you get. Note that there's no seating space, but there is a park with plenty of benches across the road.
Good value for money and healthy. The soup for £2.5 with half a slice of bread was great on a cold day like today. You can also build your own sandwich or wrap for £5.5. Overall a good deal. Staff are friendly that's a bonus however, there's limited space to sit and no toilet.
I had an amazing experience at the Green Goose Cafe! The food was excellent in flavor, and I truly enjoyed every bite. The coffee was also lovely and very smooth. The service was great too! They do amazing breakfast rolls, and the vegan square sausage is my favorite! I highly recommend checking it out if you haven't already!
A tiny vegetarian gem in Shawlands. The Green Goose is a small spot — so small, in fact, that it’s really more suited for takeaway than dining in. Their menu focuses mainly on salads and sandwiches, and after trying at least half a dozen items, I can say everything has been consistently tasty. Standouts for me are the Cuban sandwich with pulled jackfruit, the curried cauliflower wrap, the banh mi, and the Green Goose salad. I recently discovered their leek and potato hash brown as well, which was another winner. The staff are always super friendly, which makes the experience even better. One of the best things about The Green Goose is how affordable it is. Two sandwiches and a salad for under £15 is almost unheard of these days, especially for food this good. Plus, it’s a relatively healthy lunch option — though keep in mind, they only open during the day and close in the afternoon. I really hope they have the staying power to survive because it’s great to have such a tasty and healthy food option in Shawlands.
