View is the only thing worth talking about. Worst Food for a 4 star hotel's restaurant. We went around 5 pm on a Sunday and left mins past 7:30 PM. Atmosphere was dull, a bit dark since they've switched the lights for most of the restaurant. Hardly 5 tables were filled. 4 Stars ey? Service was super-duper slow. In spite of us ordering the mains along with the starter because we were running late to drive to London, we were given mains more than 30 mins after we finished the starters. Entire restaurant was run by just 3 waitress who avoided eye-contact making it difficult to even ask for some extra ketchup. Kitchen must be run by Indian chefs. Everything has Indian items in it. Ask Japanese, you'll get Indian items in it. Ask Chicken burger, you'll get Indian items in it. E.g. Katsu Chicken came with Indian pappodoms and wild rice. Katsu curry itself was very bland. Absolutely no flavour. breaded chicken was ok. Suspect it's Frozen chicken. Burger had Indian Bajji and that too was badly burnt that we could not eat. Ahh! this too had pappodam crumbles in them. We complained about the burnt taste it gave and we were not charged for that. But, what is a burnt bhajji & crumbled pappodams doing in a chicken burger? Pizza was very mediocre and hard corners. Did not taste freshly made dough but Frozen pizza. Salmon dish had the same wild rice with it and Salmon itself was bland. Salad was good. My toddler ate the chicken nuggets & fries without any complaints. So, must be good. Skin-on Fries hardly had any skin on them. haha! It was good too. Baked panko chicken that came with Katsu Chicken was good too. We were deceived by the good reviews the restaurant had for their breakfast. Now, we'll stay away from any Holiday Inn restaurants due to the scare this restaurant gave. If you're in a hurry, stay away from this place. They'll make you cry. Sloth Slow Service! must be due to kitchen being so slow. Other than that, friendly waitresses for sure.

Pretty solid place for a Holiday Inn restaurant. Had the rib eye and really enjoyed it. Herb potatoes were great and came with a very serviceable salad and house dressing. Nice view out the bank of windows fronting Lime Street. My server Shannon was very pleasant and provided professional service throughout. I'd definitely go back.

We wanted somewhere with good food, quiet and relaxing, and we found it - with lovely staff, and a view of the city as well! I would definitely recommend it. However, the communications need improvement. First, the opening times: is it "all day dining" (hotel website), "open 24 hours" (Google maps), or until 6pm (several third-party websites)? The hotel website, oddly, does not give opening hours. A phone call established that it closes at 9.30pm. Secondly, menus. We ended up seeing three different ones on different websites, but the dish one of us most wanted was not available on the actual menu. Frustrating. Please get this right.

Ordered rib eye steak with a side of skin on fries and onion rings. Onion rings look like a heart attack waiting to happen. Steak was middle of range, expected more for £25. Other party had street food salmon, which was enjoyed. Also, hunter chicken burger would rate 3/5, bacon was a bit burnt
