Cowshed Liverpool

So glad we booked here for a meal. Food and service was excellent. My partner and I had the steak sharer absolutely delicious. We will definitely return. Would advise to book as not many tables.

If you're a serious steak lover in Liverpool, then Cowshed is an absolute must-visit. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the tantalizing aroma of perfectly cooked beef fills the air. I recently had the pleasure of dining here, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The menu is straightforward, focusing on high-quality cuts of beef cooked to perfection. I opted for the ribeye, and it was cooked exactly as I requested – beautifully seared on the outside with a succulent and tender pink center. The flavor was rich and beefy, exactly what you crave. The sides were equally impressive. The chunky chips were crisp on the outside and fluffy inside, and the garlic mushrooms were bursting with flavor. They also offer a selection of delicious sauces to complement your steak. Beyond the incredible food, the service was outstanding. Our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the different cuts of meat and offered helpful recommendations. The staff clearly take pride in what they do, and it shows. The ambiance is also worth noting. It's a contemporary space with a relaxed and unpretentious feel, making it perfect for a special occasion or a casual night out with friends.

I had been wanting to try cowshed for a while so was glad when I got a booking and wow was it worth the wait! I could not fault any of it, staff were attentive and professional. Service was great, food was delicious I would highly recommend coming here and will definitely be going back! 😁

We hadn't booked and was pleased they had a table free. The person who served us was very friendly and answered any questions we had. We placed our order and the starters arrived quickly. We had the 3 cheese garlic bread and croquette special to share. We both had the steak for our main course. What I wasn't expecting was to be served our main course whilst still eating our starters. My sister enjoyed her steak but I found mine very dry. I hadn't chosen a sauce as there wasn't one I liked. I put the steak I hadn't eaten in to a serviette for my dogs to enjoy when I got home. The food was good but would I go back i'm sorry the answer is no. We felt very rushed to eat our food.

Food beautiful. Menu simple. I find when there is less choice on the menu the food improves, and they didn't disappoint. The flavours were divine in all dishes. Portions were nice sizes. Will have to definitely return.
