Riva Blu Italian Restaurant & Bar in Liverpool was such a pleasant surprise. The food was absolutely delicious – everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and really well prepared. From starters to mains, every dish felt authentic and satisfying. It’s the kind of place where you can tell the kitchen really cares about quality. The restaurant itself is also very spacious and comfortable. Unlike some places that feel a bit cramped, here you can relax and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed or crowded. The interior has a nice modern style while still being warm and welcoming, which made the whole dining experience even better. What really stood out to me was the staff. Everyone we met was friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. They made us feel at ease right from the start and kept checking in just enough without being intrusive. That kind of service makes such a difference, and it really added to the overall positive impression. All in all, this was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Liverpool. Great food, great space, and great people – definitely a place I’d be happy to come back to again.

We didn't have a reservation but tried our luck after a few drinks nearby. It was a busy Saturday night here so I wasn't too optimistic but much to our pleasant surprise we were seated at a nice outside table and quickly served with our drinks as we chose our food. The pizza and the pasta we had were absolutely delicious and expertly cooked. Our waiter and the manager were brilliant. Despite being very busy here we were very well looked after really enjoyed our meals. Also recommend the non-alcoholic cocktails! Many thanks.

Great food. Fantastic service surprisingly accommodating of kids. But the customer service of a high class restaurant. Friendly and inviting. Great choice of foods. Some parts of the menu wasn't available such as pizza but the alternatives were actually amazing. Highly recommend the duck and the pistachio tiramisu. Great portion sizes and medium to high price.

I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the food. I ordered a pasta dish and found a piece of brush wire in it. This is a serious safety concern and completely unacceptable in terms of food hygiene and quality control. I expected much better standards from this restaurant. What made it worse was that no one offered an apology or took responsibility for this issue. This shows a complete lack of care for customer safety and satisfaction.

I ordered Linguine Con Gamberoni which all the linguine were stuck to each other! Never expected that from an Italian resturant. it was also too oily! at the botom of my plate, there was nearly 1/4 inch of oil. Pasta was swimming in the oil. The sharing platter would be nice if it was less salty. we need to drink lots of water after that. A male staff who brought our food was so angry and pissed like he didn't want us there. In general, we had high expectation.
