The food is pretty reflective of the culture they’re embedding, however their decor is a bit outdated (not so important but just highlighting this for the people that DO care). The staff were friendly, however, our waiter got mixed up a couple of things. Have asked for no onion / crispy onions, dishes were served with — and we had to wait for replacement. The chicken thighs first time round were pink, and we all know how risky it is to eat chicken that’s not been cooked properly… they have redone it for us the second time which was overcooked (but hey, better than undercooked). What shocked us is that we didn’t get a single sorry for this which made the whole experience a bit unpleasant. The ceviche was okay, the tiger milk wasn’t really coming through. The corn and tuna tostadas were good. If we pay £150 for a lunch, I’d expect top tier customer service which unfortunately didn’t live up to our expectations. This was fine for a one off visit but not sure would return.
Amazing! Full of flavour, absolutely delicious! Each dish is beautifully presented.. Service was friendly, quick and efficient! Atmosphere is colourful.. We all loved it and will definitely be back soon. Can't recommend it enough!
My partner and I celebrated our anniversary with the taster menu and wine pairings. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and the wines were paired perfectly to the dishes. The artwork from a local artist was gorgeous and we were informed this is changed regularly. I am keen to revisit to see what impact this will have on the space in the future. Thank you Paladar
My sister and I had such a fantastic experience at Paladar yesterday. Tucked away on a leafy, unassuming street, this gluten free restaurant blew us away. Not only was the food absolutely exquisite, but the staff are so friendly and kind. I would highly recommend branching out and trying some of the fantastic South American wines - we had a bottle of Castelar Extra Brut from Uruguay and as a champagne lover it was a 10/10. I had the tiger prawns for my main course which were juicy and delicious, and my sister had the aubergine, which was served with the most delicious black beans I’ve ever had. Even as a meat lover, I would strongly recommend ordering this meal with the green rice - it was absolutely bloody delicious. Thanks so much Paladar for being the highlight of our day, we will definitely be back!
Everything about Paladar was fantastic! Had a reservation for 8 on a Tuesday and changed it to 10 last minute - no problem. The atmosphere and service were both excellent and filled with energy. Sneaky big place with great decor and the staff seem to love to be there. The menu Is really diverse and it didn’t matter what you order it’s all unique and tasty. We ordered one of each or the seven appetizers and all were great. Lots of different delicious small plates after that and all were very good. A nice wine list, cocktails and excellent desserts. We loved it!
