I recently had the pleasure of dining at this gem in downtown Birmingham, and it absolutely lived up to the buzz. Nestled in a vibrant and safe part of the city, the restaurant is housed in a beautifully restored historic building featuring high ceilings, exposed brick, and an atmosphere that perfectly blends charm and elegance. Valet parking made the visit even more convenient, and from the moment we walked in, the experience felt special. The restaurant is uniquely split into two distinct spaces: one side offers a relaxed bar setting, while the other provides a more refined white tablecloth dining experience—each with its own thoughtfully crafted menu. Our party of six tried a variety of dishes, and every single one was outstanding. From appetizers to entrées, everything was prepared with care and full of flavor. The drinks were equally impressive—creative, balanced, and beautifully presented. This spot is well worth the drive, whether you're local or coming from out of town. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning soon
Our waitress Amelia was extremely nice and well versed with the menu. She took good care of our party of eleven. The food was ok. It could had been a little more on the plates but overall the atmosphere and service was good.
We had a wonderful dinning experience at this restaurant. It started with great cocktails at the bar. The bartender was so friendly and super knowledgeable. After we got seated we had a wonderful dinner. As a appetizer we had the octopus, it was cocked in perfection. As a entree we had the beef Wellington. It was perfect and delicious. We also had the vegetarian butternut squash Rösti. It was also really delicious. Great atmosphere as on the bar as in the dining room. It’s a little bit pricey but its worth the price. We will definitely come back.
We had a date night here for the 2nd time and it was lovely. We enjoyed the food and wine. We had a couple of specialty drinks and it was delicious. I enjoyed the gumbo and the shrimp on my main course tasted fresh.
Delicious and amazing food and service. Only one note: I would like to see the bottles when they're pouring as opposed to pouring from little carafes, but aside from that, we were all very pleased. Nice attention to special occasions, and very attentive in general. Food was truly top notch.
