Try It Raw

My friend and I came here for the first time today and I was blown away. The taste, the presentation, the variety of plants utilized to make different textures, sauces, and flavors was truly beyond comprehension. We tried the avocado roll sans rice, the nachos, and the zucchini noodles, along with cheesecake for dessert. It was all amazing. I cannot wait to come back to try more things!

What a shining star. Came here for the first time and I got the Friday burger special as well as some dessert: the coconut macaroon, brownie and cinnamon roll (all delicious but that macaroon, it was extra magical). Everything was like pieces of art. The menu items and combinations of flavors clearly have a lot of thought put into them. The tastes explode with natural flavors and spices in all the best ways. The textures were different and fun to eat. From soft, to chewy, to crunchy it was all wonderful. The restaurant was clean, colorful, and the price points are great for the quality and portion of food you get. The owner and chef was working and made my food. Friendly person who is doing good things on this planet, and sharing his talents with others. I’m grateful for this and appreciate being able to visit a place making raw food in the very special way he does. It takes passion, love, creativity, dedication, and experience to achieve what he does. So glad I came and I’ll be back soon. Thank you kindly for your labor and for being here Try it Raw!

I’ve been coming here for years, cute little cafe offering plant based vegan food. Everything is delicious and so creative! The small dining area doesn’t seat many so you may have to get carry out during busy times for lack of seating. I highly recommend the nachos! The only thing I would change is that my cayenne lemonade came after my two entrees came out, it didn’t bother me but it would be nice to be served my drink while I wait for food. Otherwise perfect service and amazing food!

I love this place! The tacos are my go-to, always paired with a brownie bite. It’s an awesome spot for fresh, vegan, gluten-free food; everything tastes great and makes me feel energized afterward. The space is cute and charming, the staff is super friendly, and it just feels like a total gem.

Raw tacos, hand roll, and lentil soup from Try It Raw in Birmingham 💚 All vegan, raw plant-based cafe. Definitely different from the usual foods I get, but there is no lacking in flavor! The collard green wraps provide great crunch and the food is super filling. They also provide raw desserts like coconut macarons and smoothies!
