Excellent in everything, the definition of the traditional tsipouradiko in Nea Ionia

Above average traditional tsipouro restaurant. Only open and not bottled tsipouro available. The food is just ok, we did not get any pleasant surprises.

Absolutely outstanding. I walked in for lunch and was seated, given two shots of rahki and three small plates with different seafood without asking for anything. Delicious food and drink, warm welcoming staff, excellent all around.

Very good tsipouro and appetizers. Anyone passing through New Ionia should definitely visit it.

If you are from New Ionia and appreciate tradition, the simple and unpretentious might then become your hangout. You go after the construction 12.30 -13.00, fired up from the concrete you poured and you take down 2-3 to get bored and then go home to eat where your deceitful wife is waiting for you. If you are a tourist who wants to eat or you have children who want french fries, don't go, it's not for you. It's important that they don't reserve a table, they don't bring you individual plates, they don't have tablecloths, and instead of napkins they have paper like they used to. Tsipouro only in bulk with a price of about 10 euros for two tsipouros with meze. Nothing special, the whole of New Ionia is full of such places but from the most honest ones and they don't play the pseudo-gourmet.
