We've visited many tsipurothakia in Volos and this is one of the best. For the best experience order the tsipouro me meze. Excellent value and very tasty. We also ordered the fried shrimp for only 7 euros which is so cheap and very was fresh and delicious. Everything is homemade within the family and cooked from fresh ingredients. Marios, the waiter and heart of the shop welcomes you and takes great care to see that you have everything to make your experience complete. We'll be back there for sure.

Diporto is a place that takes you back in time, with the charm of a classic Greek kafenes and the flavors of a genuine taverna. The dishes were incredibly tasty; simple, well-prepared, and full of authentic local character. A special mention to the young waiter, who was exceptionally kind and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you’re in Volos and looking for real homemade-style food, warm hospitality, and a laid-back atmosphere, Diporto is an absolute must-visit!

A nice experience, if you are trying to really know the local products, the people and the Greek tsipouro atmosphere. Not in the center of the city, therefore you enjoy a much more quiet place
